it's a my little pony movie where twilight has to travel to the human world to recrive her crown that was stolen by celestia's old but bitter student sunset shimmer. there twilight meets familar faces from fluttershy to rainbow dash.
Saw the movie on "The Hub". Aside from the twist ending where there's a battle of magic, I wasn't really impressed.
I get that Twilight Sparkle knew nothing about the human world (potential - and pretty much assured - humor factor at her expense), but when she asked about the crown and the principal said they found it and and decided to use it for the dance, the movie could have pretty much ended right there by Twilight saying she had originally lost the crown (she could have called it an heirloom from her grandmother or something if asked) and wanted it back.
The only reason that she decided to attend the dance to win the crown was, I think, was to make the movie girly. I've got nothing against "The Power of Friendship", but how did Twilight Sparkle even get to go to the dance in the first place? Don't you have to be enrolled in the school to attend school functions like that? (I'm seriously asking.)
And another thing - They "found" the crown? How does someone simply find a crown and donate it to the school with no questions asked like where they found it or who potentially lost it? I mean, the crown wasn't made of duck tape and cardboard tubes, it was really fancy like it was meant for royalty! How does that work???
All he needs is a red newsboy cap and overalls, they need to have an episode where a Bowser like villain harasses Rarity while she's in her old gala dress. Bonus points if Fluttershy is wearing a green cap.
